Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Harstad track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cinnamon Ron could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Atle Solhus wanted a little to much in the start and Burning Wheels galoped for 40 m. Lucious suddenly started to galop. Øystein Tjomsland had to struggle to get Lucious to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Ove Wassberg wanted a little to much in the start and True Racer galoped for 40 m.

Burning Wheels quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. True Racer was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Sahara sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sahara followed by Awesome North One and Hard Cube. Lane two Promesse D´amour followed by Première and Lucious. Something caused a disturbance in the field and True Racer gallopped for 40 m.

Sahara kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Hard Cube sprinted over the finishline before Première and Promesse D´amour.
