Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Moonmary was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
This is the positions after 500m. Ideal Du Bateau, Mad
Nova, Moonmary, Gwentarra Bay, After Dark, Stopping
Sunflower, Trembling
Darkness, Long Limpering Love.
Moonmary took the lead after 1000m. Gwentarra Bay didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Moonmary followed by After Dark and Mad
Nova. Lane two Gwentarra Bay followed by Ideal Du Bateau and Stopping
Sunflower.
Moonmary sat safely in the lead after 2000m.
With only a little left of the race Trembling
Darkness galoped for 40 m. Moonmary looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Gwentarra Bay sprinted over the finishline before Moonmary and After Dark.
