One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Glorious Red. Petticoat Lane ended up behind the leader. Volute De Fumée got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Faith, The Blower's Daughter, Julie Globetrotter, Lonley Number, Volute De Fumée, Glorious Red, Pro Taboca, Petticoat Lane.




Faith was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Faith was still in the lead after 1500m.



Faith sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Petticoat Lane galop. Petticoat Lane lost 20 m. Volute De Fumée galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Lonley Number never caught up with Faith who won. Pro Taboca came third.
