It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Play Ball Cherry sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Jolly Thought was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Royal Miracle clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unspoken Whisper suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Royal Miracle was still in the lead after 1500m.

Play Ball Cherry was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Brilliant Buddy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Sharp Spice never caught up with Play Ball Cherry who won. Figure Of Speech came third.
