One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Why This Beauty was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close Striker sprinted to the front. Moscow Fighter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fast Rock couldn't come out from behind the leader, Close Striker. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Close Striker followed by Javelin Strike and Fast Rock. Lane two Moscow Fighter followed by Not For Granted and Holy Maid. Lollipop galloped for 20 m. Why This Beauty galloped way to long and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Fast Rock galoped for 10 m. Moscow Fighter litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Winner of todays race was Moscow Fighter. Fast Rock came in second. Holy Maid became third. Results
