One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Judge Not tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Northern Raider that came steaming ahead.




Northern Raider was in fine shape and held the lead. Judge Not was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Minette Du Lilas looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Judge Not couldn't come out from behind the leader, Northern Raider.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Northern Raider today. It continued in the lead.



Judge Not were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Minette Du Lilas galop. Minette Du Lilas lost 50 m.




Northern Raider kept the speed the whole finish and won before Judge Not and Piece D'or.
