One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





King City Edison tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Struck By Lightning that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Choco Pop, Ninjaman, Devil's Gait, Flower Autumn, Yelverton De Suite, Struck By Lightning, Green, King City Edison. Brooklyn Dreamer started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Yelverton De Suite took the lead after 1000m. Ninjaman didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Struck By Lightning suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Yelverton De Suite was still in the lead after 1500m.



Flower Autumn litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Struck By Lightning galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.
