One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shining Trap was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Downtown Rod quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Evolution started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Croire Éléments was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Encore looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shining Trap couldn't come out from behind the leader, Downtown Rod. Lonely Amazon was disturbed and galoped 40 m.



Shining Trap looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Iskender Boy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Encore.






Iskender Boy sprinted over the finishline before Encore and Shining Trap.
