One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rage In Eden could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Coffee House started to galop and lost 40 m. The Ugly Duckling was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Mindreader saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The Ugly Duckling looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Horses Own Gift couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mindreader. Light Sun galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Mindreader was still in the lead after 1500m.



Electric Eye was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Horses Own Gift was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Rage In Eden was first on the homestretch followed by Mindreader and Sanity Assassin.






Rage In Eden didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
