The sun was shining on Umåker and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Midsummer Lady sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Y Dirweddol Ceffyl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Golden Phantom took the lead rather easily. Golden Elite galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Golden Phantom followed by Close Striker and Y Dirweddol Ceffyl. Lane two Midsummer Lady followed by Majestic Champion and Top Of Elite.




Golden Phantom sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Majestic Champion galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Golden Phantom speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Close Striker won. Golden Phantom came in second. Midsummer Lady caught third place.
