The weather had been good all week and Mikkeli was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ont Près Soie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




The leader got disturbed by something and Set The Limits took the lead rather easily.




Ont Près Soie saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Ont Près Soie sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Ont Près Soie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Hero Master C.S. showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Set The Limits sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
