The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Don Quijote could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Christopher Columbus sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Counterfeit Lovebreaker to trotting so they were disqualified.




Don Quijote sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Christopher Columbus galloped way to long and was disqualified. Counterfeit Lovebreaker suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Badboy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Le Poignard was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Badboy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Björn Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Calibrate started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Le Poignard won. Willy Wonka came in second. Badboy caught third place.
