The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Mademoiselle. Cod ended up behind the leader. Dragon got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Curious By Nature started to galop and lost 50 m.

Stopping Rocker saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Curious By Nature took the lead after 1000m. Cod didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Admiral Legend galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Elegant Rockstar saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Curious By Nature galloped for 20 m. Stopping Rocker started to gallop after 1500m and Henrik Svensson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Admiral Legend started to gallop after 1500m and Hans-Owe Sundberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Dragon seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Atomic Horse showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Dragon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Dragon didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
