One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quick Play tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to En Les Cage that came steaming ahead.




Smiling Gold saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Smiling Gold was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Smiling Gold today. It continued in the lead.



Smiling Gold were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






En Les Cage won. Quick Play came in second. Smiling Gold caught third place.
