The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ohio Buckeye was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Universe King quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Universe King was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Universe King today. It continued in the lead.



Quarla De Paris was first on the homestretch followed by Universe King and Ohio Buckeye.






Universe King sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
