One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smokey Dancer found a gap and took the lead. Like A Said followed before Sergeant Body. Eirik Høitomt wanted a little to much in the start and Smokey Dancer galoped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Wrapped Up, Smooth Win, Sea Hawk, Smokey Dancer, Pointing Diamond, Sergeant Body, Like A Said, Another Gear. Another Gear showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Pointing Diamond took the lead after 1000m. Sergeant Body didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pointing Diamond followed by Smokey Dancer and Sea Hawk. Lane two Sergeant Body followed by Like A Said and Wrapped Up.



Pointing Diamond looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Like A Said sprinted over the finishline before Smokey Dancer and Pointing Diamond.
