The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Riverfront. Stepping Red ended up behind the leader. Milk And What got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Per Lennartsson wanted a little to much in the start and Stepping Red galoped for 20 m. Big Sound suddenly started to galop. Håkan Eriksson had to struggle to get Big Sound to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Thunder Mighty saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Lonely Top took the lead rather easily.




Stepping Red looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Stepping Red sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Stepping Red didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
