One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Red Chili tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Growing Pirate that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Red Chili who started to galop and lost 20 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Growing Pirate followed by Red Chili and Brave Frenzy. Lane two United Reform followed by Stopping Power and Surfs Up.



United Reform speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






United Reform didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
