The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Kosice found a gap and took the lead.

Pommerail. Danke Janke showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Runner suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.
Big Statement accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and
La Reine Charmante gallopped for 50 m.
Big Statement kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Kosice took the lead after a speedrush.
Danke Janke was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.
Attaque Dur was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Kosice were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Kosice kept the speed the whole finish and won before
Pommerail and
Big Statement.
