Only a humble breeze blew over Romme this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stifling Bouquet could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ont Près Soie galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Victoire Victorieux quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Victoire Victorieux today. It continued in the lead.



Victoire Victorieux kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Stifling Bouquet made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Miss Giron.
