The weather had been good all week and Halsua was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fantasy tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Not In Love that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Munga Irenka sprinted to the front. Gospel Magic galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Munga Irenka clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Munga Irenka today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Not In Love gallopped for 30 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Fantasy gallopped for 30 m.



Burst Of Stardust was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Munga Irenka looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Moonlight Stardust galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Coleraine galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Munga Irenka kept the speed the whole finish and won before Black Princess and Every Second.
