One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Javelin Strike tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Joy that came steaming ahead.




Joy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Joy clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Joy was still in the lead after 1500m.



Opposing Cookie speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






To Be Proud won. Joy came in second. Javelin Strike caught third place.
