The sun was shining on Gävle today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Solid Piece tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gentle Giant that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Starshine Cookie started to galop and lost 50 m.

Just Thinking saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Shining Wish looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Solid Piece couldn't come out from behind the leader, Just Thinking. Stretching Peach galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Shining Wish saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Gentle Giant galloped for 30 m. Just Thinking galloped for 30 m.

Solid Piece was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Gentle Giant suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Håkan Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Good Vibrations started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Wandering Darkness, 2 Gentle Giant, 3 Shining Wish.
