The sun was shining on Mariehamn and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tricky Necklace took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Beauty Silk sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Beauty Silk followed by Fajans and Tricky Necklace. Lane two Queen Of Boule followed by Bounce and Sharp Mind.




Beauty Silk sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Beauty Silk were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Fajans won the race after a spectacular finish.
