One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pinot Noir found a gap and took the lead. Casa Grande followed before Sowing Trap.




Pinot Noir was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pinot Noir followed by Casa Grande and Pretty Princess. Lane two Flèche followed by Jumping Cookie and Moonlight Starlight.




Casa Grande put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Growing Scout was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Casa Grande were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Casa Grande. Pinot Noir came in second. Flèche became third.
