The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bjerke this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mercredi found a gap and took the lead. Whistler followed before Cookie Dough.




This is the positions after 500m. Le Eiffel, Platinum Wave, Skipping Cookie, Cookie Dough, Mercredi, Kuiper Belt, Helmer, Whistler.




Cookie Dough took the lead after 1000m. Kuiper Belt didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Cookie Dough followed by Mercredi and Whistler. Lane two Kuiper Belt followed by Helmer and Skipping Cookie.




Cookie Dough didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. driver couldn't keep Mercredi to trotting so they were disqualified.



Cookie Dough looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Rune Wiig tried a little too much on the homestretch and Whistler started to galopp and lost 20 m. Skipping Cookie was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Winner of todays race was Cookie Dough. Helmer came in second. Kuiper Belt became third.
