The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Glowing Icebreaker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Prince Loris started to galop and lost 30 m.




Spectacular saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Glowing Icebreaker started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Prince Loris took the lead rather easily. Moving Rocket suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Prince Loris today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rindis Fabel gallopped for 20 m.



Prince Loris looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Desért Fleur sprinted over the finishline before Prince Loris and Rindis Fabel.
