Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Gävle track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Zig Zag sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Ulf Ohlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Successo Trapassare galoped for 40 m.




Lough Sheelin saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Independent Red Planet took the lead after 1000m. Lough Sheelin didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Claudette saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Claudette kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Independent Red Planet won the race after a spectacular finish.
