Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Arvika track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Monkey Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Achtung Baby started to galop and lost 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Suger Perlen sprinted to the front. More Than Anything started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Suger Perlen clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Universe Force looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Lone Pirate galloped for 30 m.

Von Schmeganhausen took the lead.

Von Schmeganhausen was safely in the lead after 2500m.

Von Schmeganhausen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Maximus won the race after a spectacular finish.
