One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fawltys Ticking Ii sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Kari Rosimo wanted a little to much in the start and Constant Companion galoped for 10 m.




Admiral Rock saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Constant Companion took the lead after 1000m. Schneller Rufen didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Constant Companion followed by Downtown Tokyo and Admiral Rock. Lane two Schneller Rufen followed by Fawltys Ticking Ii and Muukalainen.



With only a little left of the race Fawltys Ticking Ii galoped for 20 m. Schneller Rufen suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Schneller Rufen didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
