Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. COUNTER could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Take A Chance was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. COUNTER was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. COUNTER was in fine shape and held the lead. COUNTER clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Ansigt Til Ansigt galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Buddha Of Suburbia galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Standings after 1500m . Lane one COUNTER followed by Take A Chance and Columbus. Lane two Sea Chaser followed by Bowling Boulevard and Ansigt Til Ansigt. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Columbus gallopped for 50 m. Famous Wardrobe galloped for 40 m. COUNTER kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Ansigt Til Ansigt was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. COUNTER were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Columbus made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before COUNTER. Results
