One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Riverfront found a gap and took the lead. Utter Nutter followed before La Porta Portie.




Close Sound saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Close Strategy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that La Porta Portie couldn't come out from behind the leader, Close Sound. Utter Nutter was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Close Sound today. It continued in the lead.



Close Sound kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

La Porta Portie was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Close Sound didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
