The weather had been good all week and Färjestad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Northern Territory could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Pointing Fall suddenly started to galop. Rauno Pöllänen had to struggle to get Pointing Fall to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Travelling Sprackler, Strong Missile, Platinum Wave, Space General, Caspian, Stopping Tank, Luckycate, Northern Territory. Cedric started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Caspian sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Luckycate saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Luckycate kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Cedric won. Pointing Fall came in second. Luckycate caught third place.
