The sun was shining on Biri today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sir Excellent took the lead after a very quick start.




Sir Excellent was in fine shape and held the lead.




Whispering News looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cassius couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sir Excellent. Happy Driver galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sir Excellent followed by Whispering News and Miss My Money. Lane two Cassius followed by Brave Tropic and Happy Driver.



Sir Excellent sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Sir Excellent didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
