One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Essere Riconoscere found a gap and took the lead. Twisting And Turning followed before Steel Satellite.




Essere Riconoscere was in fine shape and held the lead. Twisting And Turning galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Essere Riconoscere clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Essere Riconoscere followed by Stretching Red and Frozen Power. Lane two Steel Satellite followed by Flying Map and Flying Miracle.



Essere Riconoscere showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Stretching Red was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Steel Satellite speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Frozen Power galoped way to long and was disqualified. Stretching Red was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Flying Map never caught up with Steel Satellite who won. Flying Miracle came third.
