The sun was shining on Hoting and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pointing Starlight found a gap and took the lead. Giant Fighter followed before Lutike.

Samson quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Speedy Gonzales started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Grasping Pie sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Giant Fighter saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Giant Fighter was still in the lead after 2000m.

Giant Fighter sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Lutike, 2 Giant Fighter, 3 Pointing Starlight.
