The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vejle Silje sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Moonlight Garden suddenly started to galop. Mikael J Andersson had to struggle to get Moonlight Garden to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Treat Me Bad saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Ride The Lightning took the lead after 1000m. Cork didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ride The Lightning followed by False Prophet and Vejle Silje. Lane two Cork followed by Little John and Militarius.



Vejle Silje was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Ride The Lightning were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Ride The Lightning didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
