The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Laskea Kotona could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Little Ivory quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Graciös started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Peaches took the lead after 1000m. Little Ivory didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Peaches today. It continued in the lead.




Laskea Kotona seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.




Laskea Kotona was safely in the lead after 2500m. Big Maybe Baby was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m. Sudden Tropic gallopped 40 m after 2500m.



Laskea Kotona sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Lucky Blacky won. Laskea Kotona came in second. Big Maybe Baby caught third place.
