The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Solvalla today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Westfalen Larockma found a gap and took the lead. S.p Fort Knox followed before Hero.




This is the positions after 500m. Nutmeg Cherry, Solid Moon, Hero, Coughing Amazon, Siryessir, Westfalen Larockma, S.p Fort Knox, Prodigy.




Coughing Amazon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Siryessir couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nutmeg Cherry.

Örjan Kihlström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Prodigy started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Hero won the race after a spectacular finish.
