The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Leangen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Milk And Beer sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Bold Sunflower was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Milk And Beer quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Milk And Beer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Milk And Beer followed by Show Me Strength and Bold Sunflower. Lane two Tequila Girl followed by Shooting Play and Mirage D'atlantique.




Milk And Beer didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Mirage D'atlantique galloped way to long and was disqualified. Tequila Girl litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Tequila Girl didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
