The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Leangen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Topp Rang sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Per Oleg Midtfjeld wanted a little to much in the start and Topp Rang galoped for 50 m.




Cicciolina quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Sleepy Starshine galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Topp Rang sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Topp Rang followed by Loving Lemonade and Sleepy Starshine. Lane two Cicciolina followed by Tricky Jewel and . Something caused a disturbance in the field and Topp Rang gallopped for 10 m. Sleepy Starshine started to gallop after 1500m and Lars Anvar Kolle had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Cicciolina litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Topp Rang won. Cicciolina came in second. Loving Lemonade caught third place.
