One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Face The Devil could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Face The Devil was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Face The Devil followed by Golden Gate and Glem Meg Fortid. Lane two Bachelor Boy followed by Boogie Boy and Magic Shoes. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Boogie Boy gallopped for 30 m.




Bachelor Boy seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Face The Devil litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Face The Devil kept the speed the whole finish and won before Bachelor Boy and Boogie Boy.
