The weather had been good all week and Jägersro was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Twix Delight.
Whatever
Closet ended up behind the leader.
Numero Una got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Twix Delight suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get Twix Delight to tror again and succeded after 50 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Brave
Darkness looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Numero Una couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Twix Delight.
Troubling
Amazon was disturbed and galoped 10 m.
With only a little left of the race
Troubling
Amazon galoped for 50 m.
Absolute Red Rose was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.
Twix Delight looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Whatever
Closet couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Brave
Darkness.
Jörgen Sjunnesson tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Twix Delight started to galopp and lost 30 m.
Whatever
Closet won the race after a spectacular finish.
