One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Weight Champion took the lead after a very quick start. Power Pressure galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Half Nelson was in fine shape and held the lead.




Splash Easy clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heavy Weight Champion followed by Deep Spirit and Answer The Question. Lane two Splash Easy followed by Half Nelson and Belong To You.



With only a little left of the race Answer The Question galoped for 30 m. Heavy Weight Champion looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Splash Easy today who won before Heavy Weight Champion and Deep Spirit.
