One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Diamond Heat could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Mauri Jaara wanted a little to much in the start and Sommarstrålen galoped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Connemara sprinted to the front.




Fawltys Strong Solution looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Diamond Heat couldn't come out from behind the leader, Connemara.

Fermata Mi showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Sommarstrålen galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Zizou De Suite made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Diamond Heat.
