One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ashippun P. C. took the lead after a very quick start.




Heavenly Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Heavenly Whirlwind was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Heavenly Whirlwind followed by Ashippun P. C. and Waving Gold. Lane two King City Jackson followed by Hidalgo and Bambino Giornaliere Del Dolce. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Prince Héritier gallopped for 30 m.




Ashippun P. C. suddenly took over the lead. Hidalgo was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



With only a little left of the race Travelling Pie galoped for 10 m. Ashippun P. C. looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Heavenly Whirlwind showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Hidalgo made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ashippun P. C..
