One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stratus Cherry took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Cavallo Di Corsa, La Maglia, Radiating Sky, Lady Speed, Prince Captain, Old Cruiser, Stratus Cherry, Sourcream Oat. A bird flew just in front of Windy Cookie who started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Prince Captain took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Prince Captain today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and La Maglia gallopped for 50 m.




Prince Captain sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Old Cruiser galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Prince Captain kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sourcream Oat sprinted over the finishline before Stratus Cherry and Prince Captain.
