The sun was shining on Arvika and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Only The Beginning sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Light Bomb was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Light Bomb, Climbing Strategy, Eikemin, Ray, Kookaburra, Only The Beginning, Fierce Courser, Dream Of Fire.

The leader got disturbed by something and Kookaburra took the lead rather easily.

Kookaburra was still in the lead after 1500m. Fierce Courser started to gallop after 1500m and Marcus Hultman had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Nessuno Scusa gallopped for 50 m. driver couldn't keep Rangoon to trotting so they were disqualified.

Kookaburra was still in the lead after 2000m.

Eikemin was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Kookaburra sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Kookaburra galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Rangoon was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Only The Beginning sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
