The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Question could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Calming Scope quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Calming Scope was still in the lead after 1500m.



Calming Scope kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Power Angel galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




King Giant sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
