The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Starlight took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Singing Brightness sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Lonely Starlight who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Amaretto Milano who started to galop and lost 50 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Singing Brightness today. It continued in the lead.




Singing Brightness kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




Singing Brightness seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



Singing Brightness looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sacred Wind sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
